Global Partnership

Globally, many orphans cannot be adopted due to political, cultural, and legal constraints. This has not deterred Lifeline from bringing the gospel to vulnerable children in these inaccessible locations. You and your church together with Lifeline can resource, pray for and directly support the ministries these ministries abroad.

153 Million Orphaned and Vulnerable Children

As the number of orphans continues to rise, it is not up to one church or person to solve this crisis. We need each other.

153 million. It’s a rough estimate for the number of orphans in our world today. As unfathomable as this number is, it does not even include those who are undocumented, on the streets, or living in extremely vulnerable conditions — abused and neglected.

As local churches and ministries seek to care for the children around them, they often find they are not equipped to care for children from traumatic backgrounds. They also struggle to find the resources, both financial and physical, to meet the needs of those around them.

They have the heart to help, but aren’t sure where to turn.

Serving Alongside One Another

This work is where we see God connecting the dots. Throughout Scripture, God commands His people to care for the vulnerable to demonstrate His character and His gospel. We see God equip different people with different skills and resources to fulfill this mission.

As Lifeline partners with churches and orphan care ministries in 12 countries, we see the many opportunities where churches can come alongside one another — financially, physically, and through prayer.

As we walk with brothers and sisters in Christ in their home country, James 1:27 is brought to life. Christians are equipped to care for the vulnerable in their community. Deaf children hear the gospel through sign language for the first time. Vulnerable families are cared for, supported, and set free from enslavement. Youth learn tangible job skills like farming or sewing and abused teenage girls find hope and healing.

Walking Hand-In-Hand In These Relationships

The Lord has opened doors for Lifeline to meet and cultivate relationships with dozens of churches and orphan care ministries over the years. Today, in 29 countries, we have deep-rooted friendships with Christ-followers working every day to bring gospel hope to those around them in the slums, the suburbs, the country, or the city.

It is our privilege to connect church to church, finding ways to deepen these relationships and equip believers in places like Pakistan, India, Uganda, Romania, Guatemala, and Colombia.
