Lifeline Kansas Services
Lifeline’s deepest desire is for expectant parents to embrace the gospel of Jesus. Whether finding themselves in an unexpected pregnancy or simply looking for more support, Lifeline will walk alongside each family to help them understand that they and their family are made in the image of God and are therefore valuable. We empower families to choose the best life giving option for them and their unborn child. Our pregnancy support ministry accomplishes this through 24/7 support, free pregnancy testing, options counseling, connecting them to resources, parenting support, adoption planning, and post placement support. Resources from our Care Closet such as clothes, diapers, and formula are also available. In our Kansas office specifically, we offer the following:
Pregnancy Testing: Our Kansas staff are ready to provide you a free, urine HCG pregnancy test to help you determine if you are pregnant. If you have a positive test, our staff will walk with you through all 3 of your options of abortion, parenting, and choosing parents for your baby through adoption. Most pregnancy tests take between 30-45 minutes. If you would like to schedule a time to meet with our staff to take a pregnancy test, fill out this form.
Pregnancy Counseling: If you already know you are pregnant and would like to talk through your pregnancy options, our Kansas team is here for you. We understand it can be overwhelming to learn about a pregnancy and difficult to begin thinking about a plan moving forward. Our staff is ready to walk alongside you through your pregnancy whether you just found out you’re pregnant, or you are nearing delivery. You do not have to journey alone and the Kansas team is available to listen, support, encourage, and provide information to help you with the plan that is best for you and your baby.
Parenting Support: Should you choose to make a parenting plan for your baby, or if you currently are parenting a child, our Kansas team is here to help provide some support to you if you have a need. We have a care closet with items such as clothing, diapers, and formula available for our clients who desire to parent. In addition to some tangible support for parents, we also have information on parenting classes, including Lifeline’s own Families Count parenting class available for you to gain more tools as a parent and can help you enroll for the parenting class.
Families Count is a family restoration and preservation ministry designed to give local churches a platform to minister to the parents of children who have been placed into the local foster care system, or are at risk of entering it. Families Count equips the church to engage some of the most vulnerable families in their community with the hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Lifeline’s domestic adoption ministry serves prospective adoptive families who want to raise a child in a Christ centered home and share the hope of Jesus with birthparents. Lifeline is committed to discipling, encouraging, and supporting adoptive couples as well as birth families every step of the way. A key aspect to our domestic program is ministering to expectant families by discussing the options available to them. As a ministry, we desire to walk alongside expectant families before, during, and after their pregnancy.
Lifeline’s international adoption ministry serves prospective adoptive families who desire to adopt a child internationally and share the hope of the gospel with them. Our staff walk alongside families during every step of the process. Our hope is for families to be equipped as they welcome their child into their home when the actual journey of adoption begins.
Strategic Orphan Care – (un)adopted®
Throughout the world there are over 153 million orphans. However, less than 1% of these children will be adopted. The call to care for vulnerable child in distress cannot be fulfilled through adoption alone. (un)adopted exists to reach orphaned and vulnerable children with the hope of the Gospel and equip them with life skills needed to bring about sustainable community transformation.
