Lifeline Children’s Services to Co-Host Book Launch and Signing for New Children’s Book on Adoption

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Lifeline Children’s Services, the largest Evangelical adoption and child welfare agency in the United States, and HarperCollins Publishers are co-hosting a book launch and signing for the bilingual children’s book, Whose Am I: The truth about your worth and identity in Christ by Jackie Darby and Aixa de López. The event will be held on Friday, March 8, from 4-6 p.m. CT at The Ridge Birmingham.

In both English and Spanish, Whose Am I? shares true life experiences about adoption, redemption, and finding true identity in Christ, while providing opportunities to ask questions and engage in conversations that are often difficult for families to address.

“The stories we encounter in books play an important role in helping us navigate complex situations in life, especially as children,” said Herbie Newell, president and executive director of Lifeline Children’s Services. “Every child should see the beauty in their own story, and Whose Am I? is an excellent tool for families who have been brought together through adoption or foster care.”

The event is open to media, and the address is included below. To RSVP, please contact [email protected].
