“S” resides most of the year in Asia and serves as one of our Regional Coordinators. She engages local like-minded partners in the U.S. & Asia to equip and empower them to engage orphaned and vulnerable children in their communities.  She earned her BSW from the University of South Florida, MSW from the University of Alabama, & she is a TBRI Practitioner. “S” speaks both domestically & internationally to foster & adoptive parents, professionals, Judges, attorneys, GAL’s and orphanage directors & staff on topics such as best practice for engaging children from hard places, bonding & attachment and how to handle tricky trauma behaviors. “S” is the mother of 7 grown sons, 3 of which were adopted internationally and she is a former foster parent for DHR. Her favorite part of her work is, “Being surrounded by like-minded coworkers who are all driven to love, teach, and serve vulnerable populations.”
