Renee Eggebraaten

I’m Renee Eggebraaten and I live in Rapid City, South Dakota. I joined Lifeline on July 24, 2023 as a Casework Supervisor for South Dakota. I studied social work at Northwestern College in Iowa and received a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. I am a licensed clinical social worker in South Dakota. I have been married to my husband, Kevin, since July 17, 1993! Kevin is a CPA and part owner of a local public accounting firm. We have two children who joined our family through domestic infant adoption. Our son, Jonathan, lives in Rapid City. He is engaged to be married to Amara and we look forward to welcoming her into our family sometime in 2024. Our daughter, Sara, lives in Rapid City. She is mom to our first grandchild, Oliver.

What I am doing on a perfect weekend evening.

Hiking or biking in the beautiful Black Hills! Family dinner every Sunday evening with our kids and their families.

Interesting fact about you.

While new to Lifeline, I have over 30 years of experience working in adoption/child welfare. I broke out of retirement to come to work at Lifeline!

What do you do when you are not at Lifeline?

I love to be outdoors – hiking and biking. I love the opportunity and time I get to spend with family — my mom, in-laws and grandson.

Favorite scripture.

Ephesians 3:20-21
