Misty LaFavor

My name is Misty LaFavor and I joined Lifeline’s staff in October 2023. I was raised in a military family, so I have lived in multiple states and overseas, but I call Augusta, GA home. I have been married to my best friend, Brian, for 34 years and we have 2 grown children and 1 daughter in law. I graduated from Augusta State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and will graduate in May 2024 with my Master’s in Theological Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. My passion is to serve those who are on the front lines of ministry, and I am excited to be a part of the Lifeline family.

What I am doing on a perfect weekend evening.

Spending time with my family, going out to dinner, movie, going to the lake.

Interesting fact about you.

I lived in Guam when I was 5 and in Turkey when I was a teenager.

What do you do when you are not at Lifeline?

I enjoy sports, playing and watching. Go Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves.

Favorite scripture.

Psalm 27
