John Bell

I was born in Meridian, MS and grew up as an only child. I received a baseball scholarship to Jackson State University where I majored in Social Work. After graduation I worked in the Social Services field for over 7 years before embarking on a career in Hospital Support Services Management. After serving in this role for over 8 years, I furthered my education by attaining my MBA as well as a MSHQS from UAB. I am a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity and serve as a mentor to teenage males. Last but not least, I am a devoted husband and loving father to five children.

What I am doing on a perfect weekend evening.

A perfect weekend would involve spending time with my family outside engaged in some type of sporting event, whether watching or participating. Culminating with church on Sunday and dinner with family and friends.

Interesting fact about you.

I was named Social Worker of the Year for my county while working at DHS.

What do you do when you are not at Lifeline?

I’m usually engaged in some family oriented activities such as traveling or coaching my children in sports.

Favorite scripture.

Phil 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
