I joined the Lifeline team in May of 2023 and am thrilled to officially be part of the ministry since becoming a Lifeline waiting Mama in early 2019. I will be serving as Compliance & State Operations Manager. I bring with me eleven years experience as an educator, eleven years as a Children’s Ministry Director, and seven years as an insurance defense civil litigation paralegal. I earned my Bachelors of Science degree in Education from Georgia State University and received several subsequent professional continuing education certifications as both an educator and paralegal over the years.
I grew up in and currently reside in the metro-Atlanta area with my husband Patrick and two biological children, Bella and Dylan. Bella is working towards earning her BSN and hopes to become a neonatal nurse very soon. Dylan is a going into his Junior year of high school and is an avid baseball player and Braves enthusiast. Our family is anxiously awaiting the finalization of the adoption of our third child, who currently resides in China! We have been waiting to bring her home since early 2020.
I consider my job at Lifeline the utmost highest honor, as I am able to work with Biblically-centered teammates who also have a heart for the vulnerable and fatherless!
What I am doing on a perfect weekend evening.
On a perfect weekend, I would be sitting on the beach with my family enjoying the sunshine and soaking in all the peacefulness and restoration the ocean brings!
Interesting fact about you.
An interesting fact about me is that from the time I was in Kindergarten until my Senior year in high school, I spent each summer with both sets of my grandparents – alternating weeks with each set. They lived in south Florida, so I also consider Florida a home away from home too! My time with them deeply enriched my life in more ways than I can count. It instilled in me a deep sense of where my family came from, as both were either immigrants or children of immigrants, how to make delicious food, and most importantly, how to serve in the church!
What do you do when you are not at Lifeline?
While I am not sitting at the baseball field cheering on my son’s team, I enjoy playing with my sweet kitty cat Ellie, reading historical fiction, doing puzzles, trying new recipes, and completing crafting or sewing projects.
Favorite scripture.
“The Lord will fight for you; you need only be still,” -Exodus 14:14. This is the verse that I lean on most often to get through both the highs and lows of life. Remembering that the Creator of the Universe, our Heavenly Father and Savior, is always fighting for us, has carried me through so much!
