Anna Bishop

Anna has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Auburn University and a Master’s in Social Work from Troy University. Anna values creating a space of safety and unconditional positive regard for clients as they process and heal from painful circumstances. She believes that every person is deserving of compassion, respect, and kindness and seeks to create a therapeutic environment where clients can experience that. Anna works from an attachment perspective while integrating other counseling principles into her work with clients. Anna is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Theraplay, EMDR, and TBRI principles.

What do you do when you are not at Lifeline?

Anna and her husband, Brice, live in Birmingham. They enjoy spending time outdoors, especially time with their dog, and anything Auburn related.
