Pray for Romania

One of the ways you can get involved in Romania is to begin praying for the needs that are present there. Check back occasionally to see an updated list of prayer requests for this country.

Prayer Points

Pray for the Lord to bring forward new mission-minded Christian families to pursue adoption from Romania that the children can be loved and discipled in forever families.

Pray for the families who have answered the call to adopt from Romania and are currently waiting. May they be strengthened and encouraged throughout their process. Pray for each family who is working hard to be matched with their child/ children. Pray for peace & endurance, and that they’d use this time intentionally to prepare their families for what’s to come.  

Pray for post adoptive families who are caring for and ministering to their children from Romania. Ask the Lord to bless their bonding and attachment, and for discipleship opportunities to continue. 

Pray for the children waiting to be adopted from Romania. May the Lord offer them his comfort and peace and they wait for a family to pursue them. 

Pray for the caregivers in the foster homes, group homes, and orphanages who are serving the waiting children. Ask for consideration and care as they are pouring into the children. 

Pray for the local church in Romania. Pray for local believers in country to support families and children in need as they share the gospel with their neighbors. 

Praise the Lord for the missionary family who runs the REGEN Foundation.  Through this foundation, they are able to reach in unreached in the local villages (Toarcla and Combinat) in Fagaras.  Pray specifically for the discriminated gypsy people and families living in these harsh conditions. 

Pray for the Regen team as they help lead the many programs the Regen team has established. They are short staffed due to COVID, pray the lord will raise volunteers for the Regen team. 

Pray for ARFO-Romania without Orphans- and our contacts there as we work to see how better we can serve.  

Pray for our contact at the National Authority for Adoption.  Pray we can continue to develop a strong relationship with her and communication would be clear.  

Pray for President of the Ministry in Romania, as she is the one who makes decisions on matching children with families. 

Pray for wisdom and discernment for our Lifeline team: Josh, Jana, Jackie, Brianna, Toria, Timmi Anne, and Sarah Ann. 

Praise the Lord for the UnAdopted partnership that continues to grow in Romania.  We are Thankful that Mark Sly has been able to help lead and guide Eurasia and specifically his relationship with Petry. Pray we will be wise in our relationships and trainings.  Thankful Beth has been helping lead and guide as well with trainings through Global Care Initiatives. 

Pray specifically the Lord will open doors for travel in 2021 so we can lead a parenting conference in Iasi.
