Lifeline Grows with Partnership in Louisiana

God is continually opening doors for His ministry through Lifeline to grow, and we are excited to share that we have been licensed to assist families in Louisiana with international adoption services!

Later this fall, Lifeline will begin to serve Louisiana churches and families by providing International adoption services across the state. We are pleased to partner with the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home and Family Ministries to provide a Christ-centered path to International adoption.

In a news release to the Baptist Message at the Executive Board meeting of the Louisiana Baptist Convention, Dr. Perry Hancock, CEO of the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home and Family Ministries stated, “We are excited to work with Lifeline Children’s Services to bring Christ-centered, adoption services to families in Louisiana Baptist churches. Lifeline is one of the largest and most respected adoption agencies in America. In the past few years, options for quality, faith-based intentional adoption services have been limited in our state. Lifeline will meet this need and serve our families and churches with excellence.”

As a Hague Convention accredited provider of adoptive services, licensed in 13 U.S. states and with adoption programs in 18 countries across the world, we are committed to minister to adoptive families in Louisiana through intentional discipleship, excellent pre-adoptive education, a well-supported adoption experience, and intentional post-adoption support.

Dr. Rick Morton, Lifeline’s Vice President for Engagement and a former Louisiana Baptist expressed his excitement that Louisiana families now have a great gospel-centered option for pursuing international adoption. “Lifeline is excited to extend International adoption opportunities to believing families throughout Louisiana. Limited options for credentialed child placing agencies have become a serious barrier to Christian families across Louisiana in pursuing a child for adoption Internationally. As a former Louisiana Baptist, I am thrilled to work side-by-side with the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home to bring a Christ-centered option for services back to Louisiana. The strong heritage of the LBCHs work on behalf of vulnerable children and families, especially under the leadership of my friend Dr. Perry Hancock, is a wonderful gift to us as a partner in ministry.”
