My name is Maria and I was born deaf. I am now a student at a community school here in Busega for the deaf. Here, I have learned sign language and am grateful that I can communicate with my family and the new friends I have made. I have learned a lot about God and now attend a church with my family, who has also been greatly impacted by the generosity of the school.
