We love the healthcare facilities we get to partner with through our pregnancy counseling ministry. Places like Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, Kansas, mean a lot to Lifeline Children’s Services and the way they make us aware of expectant mothers we can walk with and serve.
To say “thank you” and send some love and encouragement to the hospital’s doctors, nurses, IT staff, housekeeping, and security, Jessa Swearingen, outreach coordinator & pregnancy counselor in Kansas, delivered a package of goodies in April. The care pack included fun colored pens, gum, mints, stickers, note pads, Chapstick’s, and more.
“We wanted to support our No. 1 healthcare partner,” Jessa said. “We know it takes every single department to help our community stay safe and healthy.”
During COVID-19, and at all times, our healthcare partners are vital. “We wanted to encourage front line workers and make sure they know that while they’re working so hard to serve those with health needs, we’re praying over them every day,” Jessa shared.
