Shared Beginnings
is now
Lifeline Children’s Services
The compassion programs, the impactful services, and the commitment you trusted with Shared Beginnings are now part of Lifeline’s work.

Same care. Same hope.
A stronger future in Arkansas.
This joining of Shared Beginnings into Lifeline is rooted in purpose. By combining Shared Beginnings’ local Arkansas presence with Lifeline’s experience, infrastructure, and network of support, we are able to offer more opportunities and stronger services for expectant parents, birth families, adoptive families, and children across Arkansas.
Expanded Reach & Resources
Lifeline’s long history in adoption, pregnancy support, and family services means that Shared Beginnings’ programs now benefit from a broader network of training, staff support, and funding.
Consistency of Care
The same heart of care, but now backed by Lifeline’s systems. The services you relied on via Shared Beginnings will continue — uninterrupted — and will in many cases grow.
Unified Support for Arkansas Families
Families in central and northwest Arkansas will have a stronger local partner and the continuity of a national organization that understands adoption and pregnancy support deeply.
Focus on the Future
Lifeline’s nationwide and global work gives opportunities for innovation, specialized support, and sustainability. Families in Arkansas will benefit from that strength, while still receiving local, personalized service.
Services
Our Services
Lifeline and Shared Beginnings bring a legacy of adoption support and compassionate pregnancy counseling. Under Lifeline, these services will continue and grow, joined by the Car Seat and Hospital Bag programs Arkansas families know and love.
Pregnancy Options Counseling
We help expectant parents think through adoption as a loving, intentional plan — if that’s the option you choose. We partner with you to explore your hopes, set up your plan for hospital time, choose what kind of adoptive family you desire, and walk with you from pregnancy through placement and beyond. If you are pregnant and considering your options — parenting, adoption, or other pathways — Lifeline’s pregnancy counseling team is here to provide confidential, compassionate guidance, no cost to you. Explore your Options.
Hospital Bags
Shared Beginnings distributed free hospital bags filled with hygiene kits, pajamas, blankets, after-care products and more.
Under Lifeline, this service continues. Your organization, women’s group or church can host a donation drive and packing party to reach moms across Arkansas in some of their most vulnerable moments. These bags are in hospitals in NWA, Harrison, Russellville and Fort Smith. If your hospital is interested in receiving them or your group would like to host a drive, please contact Michaela.montie@lifelinechild.org.
Community Outreach Programs
Our team partners with churches to come alongside families and youth with support, encouragement, and practical help at every stage of need. Families Count walks with parents through mentorship and parenting guidance, Heritage Builders supports teens aging out of foster care with life skills and relationships, and family preservation programs like Harbor Families help stabilize families before crisis hits. Together, these programs give churches meaningful, hands-on ways to care for vulnerable children and families in their own communities. For more information, contact Michaela.montie@lifelinechild.org.
Interested in Adopting?
Lifeline Children’s Services comes alongside hopeful adoptive parents with guidance, education, and support through every step of the adoption journey. Their programs include domestic, international, and foster care adoption pathways, all designed to help families navigate the process with clarity and confidence. From the first conversation to placement and beyond, Lifeline provides compassionate care, resources, and a trusted team to walk with families as they grow.
