Lifeline Children’s Services Commends Missouri AG for Upholding Protections for Viable Unborn Children

December 4, 2020: As abortion activists in Missouri prepare to ask a judge today to overturn the state’s near-total abortion ban, Lifeline Children’s Services applauds Attorney General Andrew Bailey’s affirmation that his office will continue enforcing a ban on abortion after fetal viability under the state’s new amendment. As a ministry dedicated to advocating for vulnerable children and supporting families, we believe every life has inherent worth and dignity, created in the image of God.

Even though we desire for there to be a total abortion ban enacted in all 50 states, we are hopeful that this is a step for Missouri in acknowledging the value of life and child, regardless of their stage of development. While laws like this continue to be debated, we recognize the need for ongoing efforts to provide practical support for vulnerable children, mothers, and families.

Lifeline remains committed to walking alongside these families, offering compassionate care, resources, and the hope of Christ. We call on all Missourians to join us in defending life and creating a culture where life is cherished and supported at every stage.
