Position Summary:
Work in coordination with the Global Orphan Care team to oversee, coordinate and manage Lifeline’s strategic international orphan care initiatives through the ministry of Global Orphan Care.
Essential Duties:
- To be a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ to co-workers, clients and ministry partners
- Actively leads the team in a manner aligned with scripture including, but not limited to, praying for and with them, sharing scripture in daily activities and leadership, modeling the character of Jesus Christ in interactions with team and any external clients, partners, vendors, etc.
- Disciples employees for the benefit of our ministry partners and clients.
- Aligns team dynamics, internal & external processes, and final product of team’s work with Biblical principles and with Lifeline’s Core Values
- Serve as one of the primary points of communication for (un)adopted within Lifeline.
- Manage child sponsorship program.
- Manage travel logistics, budget, prep and follow-up for teams traveling to work with GOC partners
- Work with Finance to coordinate wire scheduling and ensure they have everything needed for timely wires
- Assist in educating staff and volunteers about the ministry of GOC by monthly newsletter
- Assist Senior Director of GOC administratively as well as GOC Regional Managers as needed
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, keep detailed notes on meetings, print/make copies of needed materials, etc.
- Field inquiries that come to the GOC team
- Coordinate donor communication and documentation, including thank you notes in Virtuous
- Oversee communication and coordination all GOC interns and volunteers.
- Attend and/or coordinate GOC attendance at strategic events and conferences
- Foster good will within the ministry; emphasizing teamwork as a common goal to equip, network, and train the church to manifest the gospel to vulnerable children
- Travel locally and internationally on a limited, as needed, basis
