Commonly Asked Questions
Here are some answers to the commonly asked questions we receive about working at Lifeline.
How do I apply to work at Lifeline?
It’s easy! Just look through our opportunities page above and find the position you are interested. At the bottom of each page, the application is linked. Be sure to have your most current resume ready for upload.
Can I apply for more than one position at Lifeline?
Definitely. Just submit an application and put the positions you are interested in in the application field that asks you to list them.
Can I just send you my resume to keep on file?
Unfortunately, we only accept applications and resumes for open positions. If you don’t see something you are interested in, just be sure to check back periodically.
Do I have to be a Social Worker?
No. While Lifeline does have a LOT of social workers on staff, there are many ways to serve at Lifeline. We have teams focused on finance, marketing, administration – just to name a few. Some states that we are licensed in require a social work degree and/or licensure. If that’s the case, we will be sure to include that in the job posting.
What kind of benefits do you offer?
We offer our employees employer-paid medical and dental insurance coverage as well as the opportunity to participate in vision, cancer, accident and life insurance policies. Lifeline also provide short-term disability coverage and paid time off for full-time employees. Additional benefits are available for employees after 4 years of service.
What’s the interview process like?
After you submit your application, there are generally 2-3 interviews depending on the position and its location. This process can take anywhere from 4-6 weeks (although it’s not limited to that timeline.) Our recruitment team works hard to ensure that the process is as timely and smooth as possible.
