The Bridge Educational Screener Training is a hands-on advanced workshop that builds on the Bridge Educational Therapist training. The Bridge screening helps identify the student’s learning styles, strengths, and weaknesses through the unique combination of sensory-motor, visual efficiency, dominance, and cognitive skills’ assessments. The data gathered is then used to design a plan to help the student move from a place frustration to a place of hope.
Participants will:
- Learn how to assess for possible retained primitive reflexes
- Learn how to assess for possible insufficiencies in visual skills
- Understand the significance of a dominance profile, how it can impact the learning process, and how to assess for dominancy
- Learn how to administer the Gibson Cognitive Skills Assessment
- Learn how to interpret the screening results and write a Bridge Screening Report
- Learn how to write an individualized Bridge Plan
Open to: Educators, therapists, and individuals passionate about supporting vulnerable learners who have completed the Bridge Educational Therapist Training.
