They have arrived!
Lifeline’s Kids Camp staff have been talking about, and anticipating, the arrival of thirteen precious children from Kunming and Yinchuan, China. For months their little faces have been pictures on a page, but last night we were privileged to meet them face to face as they got off the plane here in Birmingham, AL!
These little ones have been a joy to be around as we have seen them laugh through exhaustion, learn how to play a drum, experience play dough for the first time, and so much more! This has only been the first day, but our hearts are already being drawn to these precious children as we see their own unique personalities come out! We are excited to learn so much more about each little boy and girl this week.
Their joy, smiles, fear and tears reminds us how uniquely God has made each one of them. His Word promises that they are “fearfully and wonderfully made.” They are known and loved by a great, merciful personal God, and our staff has the privilege of loving them for a brief twelve day period. Please pray for our staff and volunteers to love them as Christ loves them, and may our love help them to know and understand His great love for them.
You can follow along on our blog here to keep up with stories from each day of their time here.
