Tanya joined the Lifeline team in December 2017 as our Senior Director of Human Resources. She takes care of our people! Originally from New Orleans, Tanya received Bachelor’s degree in Youth & Family Studies from Samford University and her Master of Legal Studies from Trinity International University Law School. She grew up a dancer and is still known to bust out in a dance party while cooking dinner. For fun, Tanya enjoys sewing, hiking, and spending time with her family. She’s a big fan of Asian and Mexican food. Her favorite place to travel is Maine but is also down to go to the beach. She has been married to her husband, Ryan, for more than 20 years. Having lived in the Birmingham area most of their marriage, Ryan is a teacher at a local high school. They have four children and love being outdoors, finding new places to hike and explore. Her three simple joys are her faith, her family, and a hot cup of tea! Tanya loves the mission of holistic orphan care and getting to do that with others that are just as passionate as she is.
