Case Worker - Mississippi

Shannon is from Petal, Mississippi and joined Lifeline in 2017 serving as a part-time Caseworker for post-adoptive services. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from USM and Master’s of Science in Counselor of Education with an emphasis in Community Counseling from MSU.   Shannon currently holds a license in the State of Mississippi as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), while being Board Qualified to offer supervision to rising counselors in the area.  She owns and manages a Christian Counseling Center (MARCH) in downtown Hattiesburg.

Shannon is married with four beautiful children, their fourth child they adopted from China through Lifeline. Shannon and her family love to travel and learn about different cultures. They stay very busy, but always make time to share family meals. “I love being able to conduct post-visits with families after they bring their children home.  It is such a blessing and one of my most favorite things to do!  I feel a very special connection with families that adopt. God has blessed me richly and I consider myself one lucky lady. My heart rejoices over the love and change Lifeline has brought to our home personally and professionally.”
