McKinley Landen

McKinley joined Lifeline in October 2020. She is from Franklin, Tennessee and serves on the Education team as a Family Therapist.  She received her Bachelors in Human Development and Family Sciences and her Masters in Social Work from Samford University. McKinley primarily works with attachment and trauma in adolescents, adults, and couples, as well as helping people with anxiety, grief, depression, anger, marriage and parenting support. McKinley utilizes Person-Centered Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapies, and Family Systems Therapies. She enjoys working from a client-centered approach, providing strength-based care to her clients. McKinley is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Theraplay, Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) principles, and Prepare and Enrich. McKinley met her husband, Jake, at Samford and they were married in November 2019. They enjoy hiking, going on walks, and playing games! Her three simple joys are: coffee, Jesus, and warm weather. “I have felt so welcomed! The environment at Lifeline is unlike anything I have been a part of. I already feel so loved and cared for here!”
