Lene Johnson

Lené Johnson serves as the SC State Casework Specialist, joining Lifeline on July 14, 2026. Originally from Charlotte, NC, Lené holds a B.S. in International Health and a Minor in Nonprofit Leadership from Clemson University. Growing up in a large family with seven siblings, many of whom were adopted, Lené developed a deep love for children and a passion for supporting families. After moving to Charleston last summer and recently getting married, Lené brings warmth and dedication to her role. Outside of work, she enjoys running, biking, surfing, playing pickleball, and exploring new coffee shops. Lené’s unique background and enthusiasm for outdoor activities enrich her connection with the community. Her favorite scripture is Zephaniah 3:17: “The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you by His love; He will exalt over you with loud singing.
