Laura Haymon joined the Lifeline team in September 2016 and serves as a Foster Care and Domestic Adoption Social Worker. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky but moved to Tuscaloosa when she was six. She attended Troy University where she received her BS in Human Services with a minor in Leadership Studies. She then attended The University of Alabama where she received her Masters in Social Work. She has a goofy dad (David), sweet mother (Angie), and wise little sister (Olivia). Her parents have been involved in ministry since she was born. Her dad is an associate pastor, so she grew up getting to see the in’s and out’s of the local church. She is extremely grateful for her family because they are the ones that introduced her to Christ’s sacrifice and His gospel. In her free time, Laura likes to go to the movies or play board games. Her favorite food is her mom’s chili. Her favorite place to travel is Paris but one thing people might not know about her is that she traveled to Seoul and Jeju Island, South Korea this past August and loves Korean cuisine. Her three simple joys are game nights with my friends, dinner with my family, and a good cup of coffee (fourth- The Office). Her favorite thing about working at Lifeline is the people she gets to work with!
