Kara Clark

Kara Clark is a licensed clinical social worker and family therapist.  She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a minor in Christian Studies from Howard Payne University, a Master’s degree in Social Work from University of Texas in Arlington, and a Master’s degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Kara primarily works in the areas of trauma and attachment in children, adolescents, and adults, as well as helping people with a variety of challenges including anxiety, addiction, grief, depression, anger, relationship issues, marital concerns, and parenting support.  She is fully certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and utilizes Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Trust-Based Relational intervention principles, and Theraplay trained. Kara is committed to helping individuals and families as they work through past and present hurts with the hope that God will use her to bring about restoration and healing.
