Josh is passionate about Christ’s name being made known among the nations. Josh’s desire in ministry is to share the name of Jesus, disciple others, and care for the fatherless around the world. He invests his life in families, church leaders and others who are passionate about the Gospel and the fatherless.
Josh has a Bachelors degree from Samford University in Family Studies and a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Liberty University. Josh has been on staff at Valleydale Baptist and the Church at Brook Hills in the Birmingham, AL area serving in Children, Youth and Outreach ministries. Josh has also traveled to several countries on mission, leading teams of people in Central America, South America and Africa to share the name of Christ.
He and his wife, Staci, met while attending Samford University and have lived in Birmingham since. In 2009, Josh and Staci felt called to international adoption. They adopted their son Moses, who was then 3 years old in 2011, from Uganda. In 2016, Josh and Staci adopted Richardson, who was then 3 years old, from Haiti.
“I believe that it is the call of every believer and church to share His name with the world. Also, every believer and church is called to care for the fatherless in some way. We care for the fatherless because of the awesome work that Christ has done in us”.
Josh desires to use his life to help others see their part in the Great Commission and the call to minister to the fatherless. He has been given the opportunity to do this by speaking to churches and encouraging people to use their lives for the Kingdom.
