Jennifer Travis

Jennifer Travis holds a Bachelors in Social Work from the University of Alabama and a Masters in Social Work from Tulane University. Jennifer joined the Lifeline team in December 2014 after a decade of work in foster care, family preservation, and homeless prevention and intervention. She became a TBRI Practitioner in 2017 and in 2021 earned her TIPS Trainer certification through the Alabama State Department of Human Resources. This allows her to partner with the Alabama DHR to train social workers and foster parents across the state to lead state foster care licensing classes. She is passionate about advocating and caring for the vulnerable and is excited that the Lord has allowed her to do this through Lifeline. She currently lives in Birmingham, AL with her husband John.
