Jason Sampler serves on the Lifeline team as our Georgia State Director. He grew up in Oklahoma, where he completed his undergraduate degree in Secondary Education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. From there, Jason moved to New Orleans to attend New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned two masters’ degrees and a Ph.D. in Theology. While he was there, he met his wife as she was working on a master’s degree in Counseling. They have always had a heart for adoption (they even talked about it on their first date)! They have six children, three that they adopted from the foster system and three biological children. Jason loves reading, especially in the fields of theology, church history, and American history. He enjoys watching college football, rainy afternoons spent reading, and date nights with his wife. As the Georgia State Director, Jason leads in developing church partnerships, fundraising, and expanding the reach of Lifeline in Georgia. He loves the opportunities he has to shepherd churches and families to actively care for vulnerable children. His family’s commitment to orphan care, theological training, and ministry experience have equipped him to forge relationships with pastors and churches to help them disciple children in need of Jesus.
