Jackie Francis

Jackie joined Lifeline in October of 2019. Jackie serves as a Family Therapist on our Counseling team. Jackie came to our counseling team with 10 years of Social Work experience, including experience in Therapeutic Foster Care, Adoption, and Medical Social Work. Prior to joining the Counseling team, Jackie spent 4 years on Lifeline’s International Adoption Team.

Jackie received her Bachelors in Psychology from Huntingdon College and continued her education at the University of Alabama where she received her Masters in Social Work. Jackie is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and is trained in Theraplay and TBRI principles.

Jackie and her husband, John, live in Birmingham. They enjoy spending their weekends with their family and 2 children. Jackie is passionate about connecting with her clients and families to help them process their emotions in a safe environment to allow for healing and positive change. Jackie works from an attachment perspective while integrating other principles into her work with clients. Jackie works with attachment and trauma, anxiety, depression, and grief in children, adolescents, and adults.
