Social Worker

Jackie joined Lifeline in October of 2019.  She is from Birmingham, Alabama. She serves on our International team completing home studies and post placements.  Jackie received her degree from University of Alabama- Masters in Social Work. She is married to John and they have two children: Avery who is full of spunk and sass and Eli who is always on the move. Jackie is one of 3 sisters and has 3 nieces. Her family is very close and see each other often. She has a niece who was adopted domestically and that process sparked her passion for adoption. Jackie and her husband like to spend their free time with their kids, doing whatever makes them smile. This usually includes playing at the park or spending time with family. Her 3 simple joys are: her husband/kids, family, and Coffee! Coffee keeps her going since they are often on the go or chasing kids! Coffee in a cozy quiet spot is her favorite.  “I’ve always had a passion for international missions and adoption after my nieces adoption. Working with International adoptions has always been a goal of mine. I’m very excited to get to work with families through their process. I interned at Lifeline in 2010 and fell in love with Lifeline then. It’s amazing to see first hand how much has changed for the better and grown. I LOVE that the one thing that has been in the center then and now is the love this staff has for Christ and spreading His gospel. I love that we’re encouraged and equipped to spread the gospel and shepherd families in their process, which is something unique and special for a work environment.”
