Pregnancy Counselor - Georgia

Emily is originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She joined Lifeline in August 2017 as a LBSW. Emily primarily serves as a Pregnancy Counselor on the domestic team. She also serves as a post-worker for families in the West Georgia/East Alabama area, and has recently begun doing international home studies. Emily attended Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. Before coming to Lifeline, Emily was on staff in full-time in student ministry for 5 years, with a focus in Girls Ministry and Local and International StudentĀ Missions. Emily’s immediate family still resides in the Tuscaloosa area and loves visiting them whenever she get a chance. One of her favorite roles these days is being aunt to 7 amazing nieces and nephews! For fun you can find Emily traveling with friends, watching Alabama football with family, or in a coffee shop switching between theĀ 3-4 books she is reading at any given time. Emily’s 3 simple joys would be not setting an alarm in the morning, road trips with no agenda, and hole-in-the-wall restaurants. “My favorite thing about working at Lifeline is being part of a team where no matter their role, each and every individual has the primary goal of proclaiming the gospel through their life and work.”
