Edie Kortman

Edie joined Lifeline in January 2021 as the Director of Pregnancy Counseling. She is originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Edie received her undergrad in Psychology from Auburn University and her masters in social work from The University of Chicago. She is married to Tim and they have a son, Mercer, who was born in 2013 and a daughter, Mabel, who was born in 2016. For fun, Edie enjoys spending time with friends and family. Her parents live on the lake in Tuscaloosa so they love to spend summer days there. She also enjoys going to the park, going to the movies (pre-covid), and hosting friends for cookouts. Her 3 simple joys are: coffee, a great book, and laughing hard.  Edie’s favorite thing she loves about Lifeline is the friendly environment.
