Dr. Rick Morton

Joining the organization in 2014, Dr. Rick Morton, Ph.D., serves as Vice President of Engagement at Lifeline. Originally from Mobile, Alabama, Rick holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from The University of Memphis. He and his wife Denise have been married for 34 years and live in Hoover, Alabama, where they enjoy time with their three adult children—each welcomed through international adoption—and their granddaughter, who affectionately calls him “Doc.” Rick’s extensive background includes 15 years of teaching at leading seminaries, pastoral ministry across the South, and co-founding Clarity Publishers. He is the author of two influential books on adoption and orphan care and has spoken globally to inspire the Church’s response to vulnerable children.
