David Wooten

David Wooten, Mdiv, serves as Regional State Director, bringing a wealth of experience and compassion to Lifeline since first joining in 2012. Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, David studied Psychology and Bible/Theology at Crichton College. He and his wife, Pepper, have been married since 1985 and are proud parents of five children, including two adopted. David’s background includes twenty-four years as a pastor, a decade in adoption and orphan care ministry, and five years in higher education. His heart for missions and special affection for Romania reflect his commitment to serving others. David and Pepper enjoy baseball—especially watching their son, Flash, play—along with good coffee, travel, cooking, and reading.
Favorite Scripture: Romans 11:36 “For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.”
