David Riano

(un)adopted International Partner - Colombia

David joined the Lifeline team in January of 2021 as our (un)adopted Colombia in-country coordinator. He is from Bogotá, Colombia. He has served at Renacer Baptist church in Bogotá, Colombia for more than a decade in ministries of translation, teaching, leadership, and mission trips. He worked as a language teacher and translator for several years before joining Lifeline. He is part of the editorial department of BITE, where he also writes articles about Christian culture. He has a Bachelor in English Philology from the National University of Colombia and is currently doing a master’s degree in Literary Studies from the same institution. He loves reading novels and watching series and movies and is trying (just trying) to write some literature himself. He fell in love with orphan care and the Lord’s mandate to care for the vulnerable three years ago, and now enjoys volunteering with children and sharing the mandate with others… until he can become a foster home in the future! David’s joys can be simplified in reading, playing video games, and eating out with friends.
