Position Summary:

Contributes to the development of an employee-oriented culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, high performance, and the Gospel of Christ by helping to recruit a diverse group of employees. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree or at least two years of undergraduate work or two years of work in a Human Resources-related position 

Essential Duties:

  • To be a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ to co-workers, clients and ministry partners  
  • Actively engage developing an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, high performance, and the Gospel of Christ. 
  • Conducts employment related research and assists HR team with acquiring and maintain quality employees to further the mission of the organization 
  • Provides support coordination of recruitment projects and related services to supervisors, hiring managers, recruitment team members, and others. 
  • Participates in and provides analytical support in design, development, and implementation of recruitment projects and programs. 
  • Create and enforce a recruiting plan 
  • Write job descriptions and post them online and on appropriate job boards 
  • Screen incoming resumes to determine qualification, interest level and cultural fit of the organization; May also conduct testing, screening and preliminary interviewing of potential employees. 
  • Conduct pre-screen interviews by phone or in person when needed 
  • Refers appropriate candidates to recruiter and/or hiring supervisor. 
  • Maintain interview and hiring records manage the flow of candidates thorough the recruitment process, from scheduling interviews to bringing new employees on board. 
  • Works closely with job candidates, external recruiters, headhunters and other HR 
  • Builds relationships with area Universities as a desired employer for their students upon graduation
  • Prepare hiring paperwork and information packets 
  • Handle the orientation of new employees 
  • Represent and promotes organization at job fairs, recruiting events and open houses; prepare information packets and gather qualified job seekers’ contact information. 
  • participate in HR department meetings and assist in writing job postings; may also interact with department heads, and other managers and staff to coordinate the recruitment and hiring of new employees. 
  • Develops and maintains comprehensive knowledge of recruitment, employment, and other related organizational policies, practices, procedures, and/or regulations. 
  • Serves as resource for recruitment policies, procedures, and practices to supervisors, HR staff, and others. 
  • Handles and prioritizes multiple ranges of advanced administrative duties with wide latitude for independent judgment and initiative. 
  • Assists with identifying issues affecting recruitment and implementing recruitment activities to continuously improve process. 
  • Assist with the execution of the annual Employee Staff Retreat. 

Secondary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assists with agency-related events and celebrations
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers and supervisory personnel.
  • Resolves all disputes in a Biblically prescribed manner.
  • Adheres to the Employee Statement and the Statement of Faith.
