Overflow of His Love | Lifeline Kids Camp March 2017

Michael Randall carnival Kids Camp March 17

Tuesday was a great day! We started the day with a delicious breakfast prepared by gracious volunteers. The kids were very excited about going to the McWane Science Center for the day!

We met a youth group downtown and paired the volunteers with a camper so they could explore the science center together! Victoria really enjoyed playing in the bubble station and looking at all of the sea creatures in the ocean exhibit. The older boys, Randall, Carson, and Samuel loved playing at all of the interactive station and had a fun time being silly with their church volunteer.

After a fun morning, we headed back to enjoy a yummy Chick-fil-A lunch! Tuesday evening was a sweet time together. The campers celebrated Easter and listened to the story of Jesus while making cute crafts. They got to go on an Easter egg hunt, make stained glass crosses, and decorate their own Easter basket filled with candy! We all had such a fun time together!

There are some challenging moment along the way and patience gets tested numerous times. But, I have seen the Gospel displayed, through my time with these campers, more clearly than I ever could have imagined.

Grace upon grace upon grace- the Lord offers us an infinite amount each day and out of an overflow of his love for me, I’ve been able to offer the campers more than I ever imagined possible. I am so grateful to know each of these precious babies and so glad the Lord allowed me to be a vessel of His love to them. But also, I’m grateful he used them to draw me closer to Him!
