Molly Anne Dutton, Auburn University’s newly elected Miss Homecoming and a Lifeline child adopted through Lifeline Children’s Services twenty-two years ago, radiantly Lights up LIFE.

Molly Anne chose a platform which allowed her to share the powerful testimony of her life with the world. Her journey began in California twenty-two years ago, when her birthmother became the victim of a sexual assault, which resulted in pregnancy. She was faced with a difficult choice from her husband: abort the baby or divorce. By God’s grace, this is where Molly Anne and Lifeline’s stories come together. Molly Anne’s birthmother found Lifeline in Birmingham, Alabama where Lifeline staff would soon provide the counsel, support and resources to help this courageous woman through her decision to lovingly place her baby girl into a family through adoption.

“Light Up LIFE” was Molly Anne’s Homecoming campaign slogan, which beautifully expresses Lifeline’s mission of giving children hope and a future through the Gospel and will be shared well beyond Homecoming week at Auburn University.

Lifeline’s Birthmother Ministry

Lifeline was founded to minister to women in the midst of unplanned, sometimes crisis pregnancy. The fervent prayer remains that the Lord would continue to keep the door wide open to serve women with the Truth that He is the Light and the reason for which we have life. There is Hope much greater than the present circumstances.
