Lifeline Opens Office In Texas

The Hope Center 4

Lifeline Children’s Services has recently expanded its resources to Texas to serve the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The Texas office offers programs for domestic and international adoption, crisis pregnancy services, and family restoration classes.

Dallas-Fort Worth is home to 75 pregnancy resource centers, and Lifeline is excited to partner with them to serve birth families in this community. Lifeline is distinct from other organizations in that the goal is not to simply obtain more adoptive or birth families, but their objective is to intentionally and holistically minister to each person who calls or utilizes their services. They support and celebrate both parenting and adoption, and offer lifetime support, resources and counseling to every client.

“Lifeline heard there was a need for Christ-centered pregnancy and adoption ministry in the DFW area,” said Herbie Newell,  After 18 months of thoroughly vetting the need, we have responded by securing licensure and a highly qualified and experienced team.

While Lifeline wants the children they serve to have forever families, their aim is that these children will ultimately know the truth of the gospel. Their desire is to come alongside missional families and the local church with resources necessary to help them nurture children to become disciples who make disciples. A big need for the Texas office specifically is to establish partnerships with local businesses and church bodies that will help meet the basic needs of clients at little or no cost to them.

By expanding to Texas, Lifeline has the opportunity to serve alongside and minister to a community of roughly 7 million people in the Dallas-Fort Worth area alone. They hope to eventually expand to other areas  of Texas.

“As Lifeline broadens our reach here in Texas, we’re looking forward to ministering to individuals and families throughout their journey and serving the community at large,” said Scott Brown, Lifeline’s Texas Director of Development and Sponsorships. “We’re especially excited to be able to link arms with local churches in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and come alongside them to partner in serving others.”

Lifeline will host an Information Meeting in Plano, Texas on Monday, June 11. Join us for an open and honest conversation about gospel centered orphan care and learn more about practical steps to engage as a community of believers. We will discuss domestic and international adoption, as well as caring for children who may never be adopted across the world. Our Executive Director, Herbie Newell, and Vice President of Engagement, Rick Morton, will be there in person to share more about our heart at Lifeline. Additionally, we will have the honor to host a special guest speaker, Elena Martinez, coming all the way from Colombia. Elena is the director of one of the most influential and prominent orphanages in Colombia. Register for this event here.
