Lifeline Children’s Services Now Licensed in Moldova as Only U.S. Accredited Adoption Services Provider

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., July 11, 2025 — Lifeline Children’s Services is now licensed in Moldova as the only U.S. accredited adoption services provider. As the largest evangelical adoption agency in the United States, Lifeline is honored to expand its international adoption services. With the addition of Moldova, Lifeline is now authorized to facilitate international adoption in 21 countries.

“Moldova represents a meaningful new chapter in our mission to serve vulnerable children around the world,” said Herbie Newell, president and executive director of Lifeline Children’s Services. “Far too many children in Moldova are growing up without the stability, care and love of a permanent family. As the only U.S. adoption agency currently licensed to serve in Moldova, we are humbled by the opportunity to help change that reality. This expansion opens the door for more children to experience the hope and healing that comes through a forever home.”

Lifeline Children’s Services is seeking 10 pilot families to join the program. Families interested in pursuing adoption in Moldova can learn more and apply for scholarships at lifelinechild.org/Moldova.

Lifeline Children’s Services is the largest Evangelical Christian adoption agency in the United States, with offices in 19 states and headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama. It serves vulnerable children and families through private domestic and international adoption, family restoration, and pregnancy counseling.
