Through the generous partnership of Emerson Rose Heart Foundation Lifeline will be able to place $1500 grants on ten waiting children with heart conditions in China!
Lifeline was connected with the Emerson Rose Heart Foundation through Lifeline’s Event and Merchandise Manager, Krystal Brummitt, who recognized that Lifeline and the Emerson Rose Heart Foundation shared similar missions. The Emerson Rose Heart Foundation desires “to change the future of those affected by congenital heart defects by providing support to families in need, advancing patient care and medical research and increasing awareness about the most common birth defect in the world.” Above all, Emerson Rose says their “ultimate purpose through these efforts is to share the love and hope of Jesus Christ.” Co-founders, Jason and Susan Smith were moved by Lifeline’s new Kids of Hope program and wanted to channel the support of their foundation to affect change in the lives of the many Chinese orphans living with heart defects.
Emerson Rose Heart Foundation has answered the call and committed ten $1500 grants for waiting children in China with heart defects. Through prayerful consideration, these grants have been placed on children in the former shared list program, which Lifeline has chosen to call Kids of Hope. Assistant to the International Director, Marcy Larson said “we thought this was the perfect opportunity to shine some light on children with congenital heart defects who have been waiting for so long.” We have placed these grants on ten precious children, who each have unique hearts.
We are praising the Lord for the Emerson Rose Heart Foundation and their desire to care and advocate for children with congenital heart defects. We pray expectantly for how the Lord will use this blessing to bring forever families to these children!
