Harbor Families Coordinator

Location: Roswell, GA

Status: Full-time

Position Summary: Coordinates a voluntary hosting program for at-risk families and children and equips the local church to implement related services under direction of the Director of Church Based Programs.

Responsibilities: 

  • To be a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ to co-workers, clients and ministry partners
  • Develops, oversees and potentially delivers training for all roles of the Harbor Families program to be delivered to Harbor Families staff and volunteers
  • Supports all components of the Harbor Families model to be delivered to include: training, manuals, forms, processes, database tracking and other related model components
  • Develops, maintains and strengthens church relationships and partnerships, in collaboration with the Director of Church Based programs and the church engagement team, as well as local leadership in each applicable area, i.e. State Directors
  • Locates and mobilizes fundraising/private donation opportunities to support Harbor Families in local markets, in conjunction with State Director, to secure sustainable support for program staff and all related model components

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Assists with and attends agency sponsored events
  • Represents the agency in a professional manner in and away from the office
  • Maintains good working relationships with co-workers, including resolving all disputes in a Biblically prescribed fashion
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Church Based Programs

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Work Environment:
