Church Based Programs Internship

:: Fall 2026 :: Birmingham, AL :: Our Church-Based Programs – Families Count, Heritage Builders, and Worthy – are implemented by local churches that are trained and supported by Lifeline. Through the programs, our team offers indirect services to vulnerable populations, including parents with child welfare involvement, teens aging out of foster care, and women who have experienced unexpected pregnancy.

As an intern, you will assist program leads with administrative tasks, such as outreach to church partners, data collection and input, coordination of local church trainings/conferences, and other miscellaneous duties. You may also have opportunity to observe a Families Count or Heritage Builders class locally.

  • Social Work (BSW)
