Position Overview
The Education Team Intern will support the creation, organization, and delivery of educational content, tools, and resources. This internship is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in curriculum development, learning management systems, and nonprofit program support, while making a difference in communities and ultimately in the lives of those we serve.
Responsibilities
- Content Development: Assist in creating and editing curriculum, lesson plans, and training materials for churches, families, and volunteers.
- Resource Organization: Help organize and maintain a library of resources and materials for easy accessibility by staff and partners.
- Learning Management System (LMS): Support the management of our LMS, including uploading content, testing courses, and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Research & Analysis: Conduct research on best practices in education, trauma-informed care, and community support, incorporating findings into curriculum and resources.
- Engagement Support: Help prepare materials for webinars, workshops, and other training events.
- Feedback Collection: Assist in gathering and analyzing feedback from program participants to inform improvements to educational materials.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Education Team and other departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and mission.
