Teen Groups

Lifeline exists to serve vulnerable children and families by specializing in issues relating to attachment, trauma, adoption, and foster care.

Teens who have been touched by domestic or international adoption, either directly or through siblings, have experienced things that most of their peers can’t relate to.

Adoptee group topics will include identity, grief, loss related to adoption, race, culture, and learning to identify and cope with thoughts and feelings. Parents will receive guidance on how to continue conversations.

Sibling group topics will include living with adoption, space to be honest about challenges, and learning to identify and cope with thoughts and feelings.
