This event is a panel of experienced foster and adoptive parents will join us to share their unique experiences of caring for older children and teenagers from hard places. An “older child” is defined as any child over the age of seven. the five families that are joining us have experience caring for vulnerable children within this age range and will share with participants the unique challenges and joys that come along with it. Current foster and adoptive parents will feel encouraged and enlightened as the panel shares both their stories and strategies. Participants will be able to ask specific questions to the panel and will hopefully walk away with practical tools and techniques that will help them in their journey.
