Many people have different understandings of what Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is and how it may impact a person’s way of living. Many children and families we serve are directly impacted by ASD. While we continue to learn more, it is essential we seek out resources from those with ASD and professionals who serve populations with ASD. We are honored to have Lauren Hansen, Ph.D., and Becky Weldon, OTR/L, from Mitchell’s Place share with us more about ASD itself, recommended resources and treatments, and the culture surrounding it.
