Who are the (un)adopted?

Throughout the world there are more than 153 million orphans. Once these children reach a certain age (around 16 years old), they are released from government care to make it on their own without any aid. Most cannot make themselves a meal, much less a dignified living. In reality, most of the unadopted children become trapped in a lifestyle of sexual exploitation, drug abuse and slavery.

Why does (un)adopted exist?

(Un)adopted exists to make a difference. As a ministry of Lifeline Children’s Services, we are uniquely positioned to initiate effective change. The call to rescue the orphan in distress cannot be fulfilled through adoption alone. (un)adopted exists to provide a hope and a future for orphans around the world by facilitating a safe environment to disciple and equip children in need.
