CONFIDENTIALITY STATEMENT: This electronic communication is from Lifeline Children’s Services, Inc. and is confidential, privileged and intended only for the use of the recipient named above. If you are not the intended recipient or the employee or agent responsible for delivering this information to the intended recipient, unauthorized disclosure, copying, distribution or use of the contents of this transmission in any manner or form is strictly prohibited. If you have received this message in error, please notify the sender immediately at the following email address: hilliary.hallman@lifelinechild.org.

Here are the installation instructions:

1. First, visit lifelinechild.org/emailsig

If you have a really long title, such as Meredith Campbell who I’ve used as an example, visit lifelinechild.org/emailsiglong. (You’ll see that I added a line to the long signature to include program info. If you’re a program director/coordinator/admin assistant, include the program here. Keep the top line to strictly your name and position.)

2. Copy the entire signature, including the confidentiality statement.

NOTE: If you use multiple email outlets, please install in all of them to keep things consistent. I’ll break down each of them here:

MAIL APP ON MACS:

1. Open the app and click on Mail at the top left of the screen (next to the Apple). Go to Preferences then Signatures.

2. Click on the plus sign (+) to add new signature and name it.

3. Paste the signature into the box. The images will appear with question marks, and that’s fine, they will appear in the email.

4. Change out my info with your personal/office info.

-If you’re able to abbreviate parts of your title, please do so. (IE: Tennessee to TN. Public Relations to PR. Vice President to VP.)

-Feel free to switch out the direct line with your cell phone number and the office number with your direct line. Please keep it simple and do not add any additional numbers, because it will throw off the sizing of the signature.

-Please do not alter any of the font sizes, color, boldness, etc.

5. Change my email in the confidentiality statement to yours. Make sure that the hyperlink is changed to mailto: your email address. Press Command+S to save.

6. Click on your Lifeline Exchange email account in the lefthand box. Choose your new signature in the “Choose Signature” drop down box.

7. Close the Preferences window. Your new signature is now installed.

OFFICE 365:

1. Open your mailbox on the portal. Go to Settings and search for signature. Click on email signature, which should quickly pop up.

2. Paste the signature in the box.
