Here are the installation instructions

1. Copy the entire signature, including the confidentiality statement.

If you’re a program director/coordinator/admin assistant, include the program here. Keep the top line to strictly your name and position.

NOTE: If you use multiple email outlets, please install in all of them to keep things consistent. Follow directions below.

MAIL APP ON MACS

1. Open the app and click on Mail at the top left of the screen (next to the Apple). Go to Preferences then Signatures. 

2. Click on the plus sign (+) to add new signature and name it. 

3. Paste the signature into the box. The images will appear with question marks, and that’s fine, they will appear in the email.

4. Change out my info with your personal/office info.

If you’re able to abbreviate parts of your title, please do so. (IE: Tennessee to TN. Public Relations to PR. Vice President to VP.)

Feel free to switch out the direct line with your cell phone number and the office number with your direct line. Please keep it simple and do not add any additional numbers, because it will throw off the sizing of the signature. 

Please do not alter any of the font sizes, color, boldness, etc. 

5. Change my email in the confidentiality statement to yours. Make sure that the hyperlink is changed to mailto: your email address. Press Command+S to save.

6. Click on your Lifeline Exchange email account in the lefthand box. Choose your new signature in the “Choose Signature” drop down box. 

7. Close the Preferences window. Your new signature is now installed.

OFFICE 365

1. Open your mailbox on the portal. Go to Settings and search for signature. Click on email signature, which should quickly pop up.

2. Paste the signature in the box. 

4. Change out my info with your personal/office info.

6. Check “automatically include my signature on my new messages.” Click OK to save. Your new signature is now installed.

OUTLOOK APP

1. Follow the instructions on Office365 first. Copy your new signature. 

2. Open Outlook app. Go to Options >> Mail >> Signatures. 

3. Click “new” to create new signature. Paste the copied signature into the box. 

4. Highlight all of the text and change it to Arial. 

5. Highlight all of the confidentiality statement and change the size to 9.

6. Click save. Your new signature is now installed. 

IPHONES/IPADS

1. Send a blank to yourself after completing the instructions for your Mac Mail or Outlook settings.

2. Open the email on your phone and copy the entire signature and statement.

3. Go to Settings >> Mail >> Signature. (Signature is at the bottom.) Select Per Account.

4. Scroll to your Lifeline email. Paste the signature. 

5. Shake your phone so that an “Undo Change Attributes” box pops up. Select “undo.”

6. Close the Settings and make a new email to see if it properly installed.
