Status: Part-time, Hourly

Position Summary:

Develop and shepherd church partnerships throughout the state of Florida.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or Church Ministry field preferred but not required

Essential Duties:

  • To be a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ to co-workers, clients and ministry partners
  • Works to recruit new church partners and support current church partners in FL.
  • Makes regular contact with engaged churches to assess ongoing needs and opportunities for supportive services.
  • Responds to all FL Families Count inquiries.
  • Participate in FC team meetings and trainings.
  • Collaborates with FC team regarding needs/opportunities within the ministry.
  • Establishes Lifeline’s supportive role in FC with new church partners through upfront and ongoing communication.
  • Collects FC data from engaged churches in FL and compiles reports for Lifeline.
  • Conducts FC interest meetings/trainings as needed.
  • Fosters connections with Angel Armies, partner organizations, DCF, and CBCs as needed as part of the MyFloridaMyFamily initiative.
  • Promotes FL church engagement in the various Lifeline Church Initiatives and Church Ministries.
  • Helps churches understand and engage in the various offerings of Lifeline.
  • Seeks opportunities to gather church leaders and to speak in churches to share the ministry of Lifeline.
  • Assists the Lifeline FL team with church connections and relationships.

Secondary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assists with agency-related events and celebrations
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers and supervisory personnel.
  • Resolves all disputes in a Biblically prescribed manner.
  • Adheres to the Employee Statement and the Statement of Faith.
